ABOUT

Dena Hynes is an artist & designer creating impressionistic paintings that explore the healing power of nature. Inspired by moments of escape and immersion in wild places, her paintings are expressive reflections of memory and place. Each piece is a visual impression—gestural, emotional, and rooted in the natural world. Dena’s work invites calm and connection, offering a sense of stillness and beauty for the spaces they inhabit.

With a BFA and over 20 years of experience in the creative arts, Dena blends intuitive mark-making with a trained eye for composition and color. She had her first gallery show over 15 years ago and continues to evolve her practice with a deep reverence for land and light.

Dena is based in Atlanta, GA and offers original paintings and prints for collectors, designers, and nature lovers seeking to bring the outdoors in. Limited spaces for commissions available upon request and match with artist’s style.
